You ever read a book that’s so good you want to make it compulsory reading?
My latest read to hit that list is The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning.
I’m not sure how I went so long without hearing about this book. It’s a fantastic, incisive look into the core of what Christianity should be: a focus on grace upon grace. Manning cuts to the core of what truly matters, calling followers of God to allow ourselves to be caught up in grace and to recapture the wonder that is this truth: God loves us and God’s grace is enough.
Truly a fantastic and life-changing read. It spoke to many of my struggles and insecurities and damaging faith experiences. This book is a must read.
